FAQs
What is your approach to each project?
Our design approach involves homeowners’ to a large degree in the selection of colours, materials, accessories and so on. We recognise this requires more effort from homeowners, but our experience tells us it leads to a better outcome as homeowners feel greater ownership of their new home.
We also believe there are no bad ideas, just ideas that need refining. So, we encourage that you share with us every item on your new property’s wish list and we will make it work.
What is in my custom design proposal?
There are four items: quotation, layout, physical materials and mood images. These are created specifically to the homeowners’ needs and should give an idea of our design vision.
How many projects do you take on each month?
Currently, our capacity is three new projects per month.
Do you offer packages?
We do not offer standard packages per se as our quotations are customised according to the homeowners’ needs . We do however, follow a price list, so quotations are largely standardised. Do let us know your budget and your scope of works and we can advise if it is insufficient or overly generous.
Can the first meeting be virtual?
Yes, we conduct first meetings via zoom. The second meeting will be face to face since we need to present materials and have a more comprehensive discussion.
How long does each meeting take?
Typically one hour for the first and two hours for the second, depending on the size of the design proposal.
Can I walk in to your office?
Yes. However as we are a small team managing several sites, there maybe nobody available to serve you. It would be best that you drop us a message at 8923 1687 two hours before arriving to arrange. Our regular hours are weekdays, 9:30am to 6:00pm and Saturdays 9:30am to 1:00pm (closed Sundays).
How long will you take to create the design proposal?
Typically, we request two weeks.
How many people are involved in each renovation?
Typically four, including a lead, a project manager and two drafters, but the lead will be the single point of communication with homeowners. We prefer to have more involved so the project is better looked after.
Do you have your own workers?
We do not have workers. We work with sub-contractors who share our work ethos for renovation.
Are your contractors’ licensed?
Yes, our contractors possess the right license to provide renovation services.
How long does a renovation typically take?
Conservatively, just under three months, depending on the project scope.
Can I get a consultation if my key collection is more than six months away?
Yes, though we maybe unable to commit to a quotation given that our contractors’ pricing fluctuates according to market conditions. We, do however, offer homeowners’ who are collecting keys much later to purchase a set of renders so they may begin the design process with us.
Do you renovate commercial properties?
Currently, our focus is on residential projects only.
There’s much more to how we function, so why not drop by and come have a chat with us :)
